A Thief's Redemption

A Thief's Redemption is a compelling short film that follows the journey of a young thief grappling with the consequences of their actions. Set in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, this narrative explores themes of regret and self-discovery as the protagonist reflects on their past choices. Through a series of poignant encounters, the film illustrates how a crime can serve as a catalyst for profound personal transformation. The film's visual storytelling captures the essence of the "City of Brotherly Love," using its urban landscape to accentuate the emotional depth of the character's journey. Each frame is carefully crafted to convey the contrasts between the harsh realities of theft and the hopeful possibility of change. As the protagonist learns a valuable lesson about empathy and responsibility, the film ultimately conveys a message of hope and redemption.

Beside Myself
“BESIDE MYSELF” is a poem/film that engages the reader/viewer to trade places with the poet for a generative new thing that can, with your help, change the world. Step outside yourself, look back at yourself, whom do you see? That’s the question Bob Holman asks in “BESIDE MYSELF.” Fighting the metaphorical with the literal, H. Paul Moon's film captures a small band of Bob's friends voicing the poem in alternating identities, scored by composer David T. Little, for this meditative reflection on A.I. and the life cycle of the creative process.

Trans Heaven, Pennsylvania
In the 1970s and 1980s, the small Pennsylvania town of New Hope was among a few safe havens outside of major cities for gay men to find community. Over 30 years later, the town’s legacy remained, but now for a different community: transgender women.
"Trans Heaven, Pennsylvania" explores the untold story of legendary, weekend-long parties that saw hundreds of transgender women and self-identified crossdressers take over the town, traveling from all over the country to meet other people like them. Through both interviews and stunning animation sequences that utilize never-before-seen archival photography, audiences not only get a glimpse into the heyday of these events in the early 2010s but also the iconic gay bar The Raven which became the unlikely cornerstone of these weekends.
