About Our Presenter

Victoria Tischio, Ph.D., is a Professor of English at West Chester University, where she teaches courses in Composition and Rhetoric, Film Studies, Service-Learning, and in the Honors College.  She has published in the areas of writing studies and has presented on film at numerous academic conferences.  She has a book coming out this summer (Peter Lang Publishing) called Journeys to a South Africa: Reflecting on Twenty Years of Short-term International Service-Learning, which she coexisted with three WCU students and includes chapters written by faculty and students’ experiences serving and learning in Various South African communities.
