WEST CHESTER FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES ITS CALL FOR ENTRIES
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Sponsors, Volunteers, Friends & Filmmakers, Welcome to the 6th Annual West Chester International Short Film Festival!
The acclaimed West Chester International Short Film Festival will celebrate its sixth year from April 23 - 25, 2010 with an exciting mix of independent short film from both professional and highly regarded amateur filmmakers from all over the United States and Canada, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and of course, from right here in Pennsylvania. The festival will once again span film genres to include animation, comedy, documentary, drama, and experimental/art selections to entertain, provoke and stimulate regional audiences. Located in the historic town of West Chester in the heart of Chester County, Pennsylvania, the film festival is forty minutes from Philadelphia and thirty minutes from Wilmington, Delaware. This year the Festival will present close to one hundred independent short films, thirty minutes or less in length. Submissions will be juried by a panel of industry professionals and selected based on content, innovation and technical execution. The three day event will include film screenings throughout the downtown area, special film blocks for children and teens, interactive workshops, and social events. The WCFF is a premier cultural arts event in the Philadelphia region. Come join us and help us celebrate our 6th year! Welcome to West Chester: Small Town, Big Film!!
